Pass 2 uses AI to catch implied claims, testimonial violations, and contextual issues that keyword matching can't detect. We cite the specific regulation for every flag so you can verify each finding yourself. ClaimSafe provides compliance guidance, not legal advice.

What regulations do you check against?

We check against MHRA Borderline Guidance (medicinal claims), ASA CAP Code Section 15 (health claims in advertising), the GB Nutrition and Health Claims Register (NHCR), FSA novel food regulations, and advertising policies for Meta, Google, TikTok, and X. Each ingredient has its own regulatory profile covering all applicable rules.

Which ingredients are supported?

We currently support 7 ingredients: CBD & Hemp, Lion's Mane, Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps, Turkey Tail, and Ashwagandha. Each has its own rule set covering novel food status, permitted claims, and platform restrictions. Rhodiola, Kratom, Kava, Collagen, and Probiotics are coming in Phase 2.

What's the difference between a health claim and a medicinal claim?

A health claim describes a relationship between a food and health (e.g. 'Vitamin C contributes to normal immune function'). These must be authorised on the GB NHCR Register. A medicinal claim implies your product treats, cures, or prevents a disease (e.g. 'reduces anxiety'). Medicinal claims make your product a borderline medicine under MHRA rules and are always prohibited for food supplements.

Will my ad actually get banned for these violations?

Yes. The ASA now uses AI-powered Active Ad Monitoring to scan Facebook and Instagram ads for non-compliant supplement claims. Meta requires LegitScript certification for CBD ads.
